The Hopper is quick yet breathtaking, making this the perfect tour if you’re short on time. Taking off from the V&A Waterfront, you’ll be awestruck by the Atlantic ocean stretching out to the horizon, and possible sightings of whales and dolphins below.
Further on, you’ll pass over Green Point Stadium – built for the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup – before seeing a bird’s-eye view of Robben Island on your right, and Table Mountain on your left.
Hugging the Atlantic coast, you’ll marvel at the Cape Town City Bowl, the Peninsula’s white beaches, and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. Then you’ll get to do it all again, heading back to the V&A Waterfront.
Table Mountian
One of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders, Table Mountain’s flat top is an iconic silhouette and a beloved symbol of Cape Town. Forming part of the spectacular Twelve Apostles mountain range, Table Mountain is an almost instantly-recognisable symbol. With its scenic “tablecloth” of dense clouds, the mountain is almost always ready for a photo opportunity.
V&A Waterfront
The city meets the sea in Cape Town’s unique lifestyle experience. The V&A Waterfront is world-renowned for its luxury hotels, dining experiences, retail stores, and entertainment facilities – in addition to being a working harbour and the home of NAC Helicopters Cape Town.
City Bowl
Lovingly named the City Bowl, Cape Town’s CBD is tucked between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. It reaches from the bustling V&A Waterfront to the historical neighbourhoods of Bo-Kaap, Oranjezicht, and Tamboerskloof on the slopes of the mountain.
Green Point
Green Point is a bustling section of Cape Town where sea, suburb, and city meet. Home to the iconic Cape Town Stadium (previously Green Point Stadium), this picturesque strip’s diverse offering is popular with permanent residents, holidaymakers, and businesspeople alike.
Sea Point
Just off Sea Point’s trendy main road lined with nightclubs and restaurants, you can curl your toes on the beach. Featuring the popular Sea Point Promenade and historic Pavilion Swimming Pool, it’s a uniquely unforgettable suburb of Cape Town.
Clifton
Reputed as the French Riviera of South Africa, the upmarket coastal suburb of Clifton features azure waters and glowing white sand. One of Cape Town’s premier tourist spots, its luxury seafront apartments, uninterrupted views, and powdery beaches attract locals and tourists alike.
Camps Bay
Just beyond Clifton’s Fourth Beach lies the glamorous yet laid-back suburb of Camps Bay. The palm tree-lined boulevards extend to white beaches and vivid waters opposite a bustling strip of world-class restaurants, cafès, and clubs looking out over the sea.
