A beautiful way to experience Constantia and its history
This immersive walking tour visits three iconic wine farms on private trails in the Constantia Valley:
Groot Constantia
Klein Constantia
Buitenverwachting
Our mission is to provide immersive walking experiences in the vineyards and spark wonder on your wander. This stems from a passion for travel, exploration, wine, and our home Cape Town. We seek to bring our history to life in an entertaining and relatable way while providing employment for our local community and showcasing the best the Mother City has to offer.
A portion of our profits goes towards helping local children explore nature and benefit from the wilderness on Cape Town’s doorstep, helping them deal with their day-to-day challenges in a calm manner.

In the 1700s, Constantia wine was the toast of Europe’s most opulent balls, desired by iconic figures such as Queen Victoria, Marie Antoinette, Casanova, and Napoleon.
It then disappeared without a trace, only to be found in the prose and poetry of Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. Until, against the odds, the icon was reborn a century later.
This tour brings the story of the “sweet, agreeable, and luscious wine” to life, through all its unexpected glories and fluctuating fortunes, ensuring that somewhere between your first step and last satisfying sip, you get a better understanding of just how fascinating the Constantia wine story is.
